Hi All,

I would like to introduce myself to the forum, I just bought FJ1100 -84 and wanted to register to the site.

I'm living in Finland so at the moment we have snow and so much time to fix the bike. Otherwise bike seems to be ok condition but steering bearings and rear linkage bushings need to be changed. Of course all normal service parts I will change and do the full service for it.

In bike there is FJ1200 front fairing installed, but I got the all original parts with me. Idea is to make bike to the original shape.

I have also second bike XS1100 from -78.

Thanks!

Hello there Massez,
glad to see you here.
Not seen you on the XSUK forum for a while. You bought some shims from my library for the XS.
I'm running my FJ based XJR1200 with FJ1100 electrics.

Hi FJ111200,

Nice to see you here!

Yes that right I buyed some shims from you about 1 year ago. XS has been running well, We were with my mate in Belgium following F1 race, bike was berforming quite well during the trip.

I haven't been so active in XS forum but maybe in future since I have plan to rebuild the XS completely and thats why I bought this FJ1100 to have more "modern" bike to have fun with.

We were in Belgium aswell at the International XS1100 rally, or treffen, as they call it.
One of your Finnish friends was there. Do you know Timo?  He was there with his girlfriend.
You'll have to have the XS ready ready for the International rally this June. It's our turn to host it in England.

I know Timo, he has been in contact with me few times. We are planning to have simple XS11 Finland forum to the web and maybe some small activities in Finland for the XS owners, meeting or similar. Lets see...   :good:
