trying to check the turn signal switch, need help in removing the choke assembly from the switch

Did take mine apart on my 84, so i know it comes apart, but I remember putting it back together again was harder than I thought, because of the choke portion.    I got it back together and it works fine. I know that doesnt give you any specifics but just for the support, thought I would post it.  The choke assembly fits in the housing in a certain way, so when you take apart, look carefully how it fits in the groove/ridge of the housing.
