Just watching the seahawks wup washington and look outside to see it is frickin snowing again. I am getting really tired of that white crap, especially when I have to shovel it.I am getting my order list in shape for all my parts needed to do some upgrades in the spring. I won't start riding until about the middle of May, but the snow is usually gone by mid March and then i can get the FJ out of the shed. Going to do the headlight upgrade, coil relay, spin oil filter adapter, clutch spring, rectifier and maybe a couple of other things. You folks down south of us are sure lucky to be able to ride year round. I am almost green with envy. Have a good day everybody, Big R

Gee, I watched the same football game and then wandered outside to see if I would melt.
Most of Australia is having extremely high temperatures and there are fires currently in NSW, Tasmania, South Australia, Victoria, and maybe in West Australia.  So far, there are no reported deaths.  NSW is warning that tomorrow will be the worst fire danger day EVER!  Perth is looking to the whole week with temps of 45C plus.
Be careful what you wish for.

Nothing wrong with all those modifications you're planning to do, but are they all necessary?
I guess it lets you play with your FJ while its still too cold or sloppy to actually go out on the roads.

Next Green Bay and Seattle ? Colder out side than I like to be out in. Freezing rain next couple of days. Lots of black ice and there will be a number of accidents especially on the freeway. I to will do some work on the FJ but will wait until late March or early April to actually start. Right now just accumulating parts and information. Pull the rear apart for inspection and lube then back together with new GSXR wheel conversion and adjustable dog bones I hope. My eye's are bigger than my pocket book :). Next year I will work on the front end, mods yet to be determined. It's not a show bike just a runner. Sport touring with more to the touring side for me.
Might try to attend the WCR in Petaluma May 30 also to be determined. Grab the tent, sleeping bag and haul ass for a few days. Its been a few years since I have been in that part of the country. Did a lot of contracting up in the Hayfork,Big Bar, Redding area with the Forest Service many years ago and had a friend form Santa Rosa.

A lot of truth in "be careful what you wish for". Sorry to hear about the dry weather down there in OZ. Hope the fires don't do to much damage and no one gets hurt. Fires put a crimp on about everything. Except for the industry's making money in the fire control business, that's another story....  I would pipe in some of this freezing rain and snow pack to you if I could... Cheers down there in all that nice weather. :)
