Pat Conlon

Hey Deano,

For degreasing detergent I use S100, only on a cold engine. Never on a warm or hot engine and *never on the paint or aluminum* (it strips the Zanio and Zoop) http://www.s100.com/s100_tcc.htm

For washing, polishing and sealing of the plastics and paint I use the Zanio multi step process
http://www.zainostore.com/    A very, very good product. Protects clear coats well.

I have yet to find a clear coat product for my polished aluminum which does not discolor after a couple of summers, so for all my polished aluminum I've sealed it with Zoop seal.
http://www.zoopseal.com/zoopseal.asp
A lot of work to first apply and seal and I found that after Simichrome touch up, the abrasives in the Simichrome cuts thru the Zoop seal so you have to reapply the Zoop (only to that area)

Cheers!  Fr. Paddy

3 guys i'd like to hear from:

1) ocd-king david raforth.  the man could find dirt on a surgical instrument;

2) father pat conlon, from the appearance of his fj, he knows how to get a bike clean;

3) jim (forgot his last name), nickname is jimichrome.  he has one shiny fj.

Mark,

Take Fr. Pat's advice... I'm sure you have seen his '84 its the cleanest bike I have seen that was not in the showroom...
