Finally found a corbin seat, , original red/white , with the arse part in black, , been used, and has some stitching pulling away. between the black and red at the front behind the tank ,, would re,cover well , in black of course , , question is, do I break into my almost non existant bellingen rally fund, and spend $99 has plus $75 postage, on this little gem.
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

Personally, I would make this acquisition.

My Corbin is not the Gunfighter model, but it sure is comfortable. (Found on Flea-Bay; black on black with a flame pattern on the passenger portion) It makes me want to ride, and ride, and ride, and ride...

Try it and see. You can *always* resell it if you don't like it.

NO - you don't wanna dip into any funds.

If you do, I'll be opn the first flight over and persdonally kick yer arse.

In my view (for what it's worth, and that my dear, is nuffing!), I would hold out for one that doesn't need working on.

A hundred and seventy bucks is a fair bit to spend on a used seat, and STILL needs more money spent to be re-stitched by a saddler or tailor.

My suggestion from the book of:  "How to ride an FJ cheap and sort of get the look you want".

Page 22 - Go to the hardware store and buy 200ml of white paint, and 200ml of red paint. (that can be painted onto vinyl)

Mask up the seat to the design you want, and get painting.

To get the mottled effect, rob a pair of yer old ladies fishnets, and wrap them over the seat.  Spray over tights with yacht varnish and then remove tights.  You'll then get a nice pattern.

In 10 minutes, you will have that Corbin style seat you've always lusted after for some unknown reason other that everyone else has one....

Ok, it'll crack and peel after the first 100 miles, but hey! who cares! - as long as you take a photo of it just after it's painted and on the bike, you'll always have that to look at.

Erm....maybe you better just save some more reddies/moolah/wonga/cash/drinking vouchers/beer tokens/green shields/wedge/large bits of folding.......

Noticed this whilst looking for local custom seat manufacturers.

Trust the Daily Mail newspaper to get all the details wrong!

But if you read between the lines i think we may have discovered a new cure for erectile dysfunction, beware all wives of partners who have a Corbin seat..... :mocking:

Yes, I had the same problem.  I went to the hospital and asked the head nurse what she could give me for my problem.  She talked to the rest of the nurses and told me the most they could come up with was $1,500.

Hear is an all black Gunfighter on EBay US. Looks like only minor issues and open bidding. Hope this helps.
