I fitted this today to a gravity feed system, a solenoid shut off valve.
Could be good insurance on the bike, in addition to the tap.  Fuel only flows when the ignition is on.

Noel,

I'm looking for a solenoid valve NC that I can use on my chain oiler with a pushbutton to open for flow.
What are the inlet and outlet sizes, and are they available is ~3mm sizes?  Price?  Where?

Cheers,
Arnie

This is what I used for my auto chain oiler, from ebay.  1/8" is a pretty standard fitting size, I just went to the hardware store and got barbed fittings and tubing to fit the solenoid.

Previous post:  http://www.fjowners.com/index.php?topic=6714.msg59177#msg59177 but I've since added a (very sensitive) Detrol regulator to adjust the flow like this:

search ebay for this: 12VDC Water Air Gas Fuel NC Solenoid Valve 1/8" BSPP to get this:
