Hello all,

My name is Brian and I live in Venice, CA.  I've wanted a motorcycle for a long time, even got my license, but never acted on it.  When one of my co-workers told me he was selling his '89 FJ1200, I jumped at it.

The bike is mostly grey and white with a little red.  It needs some work, (it hesitates / jerks while cruising at low speeds) but otherwise it runs great.  I prefer to do my own repair work because I don't trust mechanics, so I should have it running smooth soon.

I have done a couple upgrades already.  I bought the Vibrinator handlebars, Spin-Off oil filter adaptor and the Flow stainless steel oil filter from RPM.  The Vibrinators are AWESOME!  I haven't installed the filter and adapter yet, I'll be doing an oil change this weekend or next.

I gotta say that I like this forum.  You people are cool!

Talk to you soon,

Brian

Welcome to the group Brian. The FJ is an incredible ageless machine. They are easy to work on. And Loads of fun to ride.
