I get Corey's headlight adjuster ready for the mail and see that his address is just the other side of Angels Crest Hwy. I get Corey on the phone and hit three birds with one stone. I get my shakedown ride in with the carbs, pods and pipes, meet a new member and deliver his adjuster and Garmin mount. After some lunch its time to check out the FJs.

Here is Corey on his theft deterrent Silver and White, good condition, he got it for a steal. Has already caught Moditus, good man.

Corey and the Monkey at Grizzly Cafe in Wrightwood.

Corey checking out if CBR mirrors actually let you see past your elbows. They do....

Corey had his MOJO working today, while we were talking in the parking lot two ladies drove past on their way out and stopped next to us. The driver had to tell Corey she found him quite attractive, she meant no offense to me but Corey was her kind of man... Never dull when you take your FJs out to play.

The weather was perfect, good company, FJs, a perfect day...

Ha! Yup, I got my official welcome & hand shake from the man, the legend, the one & only Red Ranger FJmonkey! Quite the honor! The tools are awesome. Thanks.

Agreed on the spur of the moment trip—couldn't have planned it any better 6 months earlier than 6 hours earlier.

And the ladies in the sportscar... Holy crap... I'm glad you witnessed & documented that, cuz... even I wouldn't have bought a story like that if I hadn't been there myself. Nice little extra kookaloo kick for the ride home. I'll take it.  :i_am_so_happy:

Perfect day, indeed. Who knows?? Maybe if I wear more red on my next FJ adventure I'll actually get a phone number...
