clutch gone?

Bike was running great until I left it sitting for about 2 weeks. Fired it up the other day and was pleasantly surprised when the bike kept turning off every time I put in 1st gear. could it a cable or something more serious?

Search function is your friend... This was asked just the other day.

Either your left the sidestand down, most likely, or the interlock switch is bad.
