Over due for a ride and itching to find some corners I decide to revisit the Bouquet reservoir. My first time getting to the Norther part (last year) I was coming in from the West. Nothing but rocks, dry grass and scrub brush at every corner. Then as I rounded a corner the blue reservoir just popped into view. So this time I stop and snap a pics of the view.

Good clean roads, no LEOs, all was good till the ride back. I was picking my way back to the freeway on surface streets when I saw a plastic grocery bag floating and tossing about just above the road in front of me. Wanting to avoid it I maneuverd, right into it and it instantly plants to my visor. I was slowing with traffic as we approached a traffic light. Now blind, one hand on clutch lever cutting power to the rear, the other hand now breaking hard to scrub of any speed and avoid rear-ending the truck in front of me, no hands available to simply pull the damn bag off, I frantically start flailing my head about to shake of my attacker. Almost instantly the bag was gone and my vision restored. A few lights later the relentless attacker fell from my neck and shoulder where it lay in wait for another chance to assault me.  Here is a picture of the evil thing pinned down under my gloves.

Now I am left the question "What would the Red Power Ranger Do"? Recycle the bag, something involving Thermite, collect more and make new Moon boots out of them?

Glad to hear your episode didn't end badly.............As far as what to do with the bag? It could be used as a parachute for a Power Ranger action figure.......... :sarcastic:

I agree...........I frequently used to get them ingested up in front of my radiator/ac condenser on my Firehawk.............The AC would shut off, and the engine temp would start to climb. I knew exactly what happened, so i would pull over, crawl underneath to reach up in there and pull the bag out....
I got smart after the 3rd or 4th time it happened, and installed an outwardly curved section of large metal screen over the opening.......It never happened to me again.

I can only imagine the mess if one got stuck/burned onto the front of an FJ engine......

I am thinking of the next WCR, Bean brings his Thermite, you bring the Blue guy, I bring the bag, now we need a potato cannon to get some altitude and air time.
