First time ever at Indy and, first time to watch MotoGp live.  What an amazing ordeal.  We were there for all three days and I have never seen so many bikes at one place in my life.  One of the greatest spectacles I have ever seen.  I saw 2 other FJ's there and was wondering if they were anyone's from this forum?  The bike show downtown, on Friday and Saturday night were insane.  I cant come up with a number of how many bikes were there for that.  Maybe every bike in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, etc.  The track itself is like a city.  So many things to see and do.  Three days there and we didn't get to see it all. I am still in awe.  The best part was riding a lap on the track.  We couldn't believe how fast they let us go.  We will be making this an annual event for sure.  Anyways, here is a video of us doing a lap at Indy.   Lap at Indy

That is an excellent idea.  We had a group discount (20 people or more), so for $100 per person, we had free motorcycle parking for all three days, a $20 value, a lap around the track, a $40 value and a reserved seating ticket for Sundays race.  Plus, the hotel we stayed in was very nice and only 5 miles from the track.  The hotel was only $222 for 2 days.  In conclusion, it was a very inexpensive 3 day vacation.  I highly recommend anyone and everyone to go next year.

We did an FJ group at Indy at the inaugural race in '08.  And at the flat track race at the fairgrounds.  Thanks to Randy for coordinating and housing many of us.

Weather sucked and the fan ride was delayed to monday, IIRC.   Even with the hurricane shortened race, I'd say the MotoGP race had better racing than this year's yawner.  :morning1: Qualifying may be a different story.

Seeing the ring-dingers 125S and 250s was also cool.
