Just picked up another bike. A 1984 honda goldwing(waiting for the smart remarks) for 2000. It is in really nice shape with 48k on it, new brakes pads and lines, belts, stator, tires, and a bunch of other goodies. I know it ain't an fj but the other half won't ride on the fj. :yahoo: :rofl2: The clutch slave leaked all over the belly fairing, so I now need a rebuild kit or maybe a new clutch slave, haven't decided which way I am going to go yet( seriously thinking of a new one). My fjr clutch and brake masters showed up on friday so I guess now is as good a time as any to do the whole shebang at once. My insurance runs out on the third of Oct. so I am not going to miss to much riding time. Big R

Not everyone understands what a completely rational process this maintenance of a motorcycle is. They think it's some kind of a knack or some kind of affinity for machines in operation. They are right, but the knack is almost purely a process of reason.

Actually I am 58 and a half and have really bad knees. Need to have both replaced but they(dr.) won't do until I quit driving truck. Says they will wear out to fast because of all the up and down climbing I have to do. :dash2:

Congrats on the new bike, anytime you are in the wind it's a good thing. Two wheels are always better than four.

Yep, if it has two wheels or a skirt, ride it.... :drinks:
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Glad you are in SCal with that statement. If you were north that would be scary.  (popcorn)
