1986 FJ1200 Spews Oil from Crankcase Breather Hose

You can't blindly trust the amount specified in the manual.  You MUST check it at the siteglass.

Here's what I do to ensure my oil level is correct for an oil and filter change. 
Pour in about 3.5 quarts.
Start engine and let it idle for about 2 minutes to distribute oil and fill up filter.
Shut engine off and let it sit on the sidestand for about 15 minutes to let the oil drain back into the sump.
Put bike and centerstand and top off oil level to top of siteglass window.

If you don't put it on the sidestand to drain back, you'll end up putting too much oil in.

Hi, it seems you have checked all that I would, are you sure the breather to the air filter box is not blocked creating engine back pressure?
First major bike in my life was a Mach III widow maker.
My Second permanent bike 1978 Z1R (owned since Dec 1977)
My Third permanent bike is the 89 FJ12 - nice and fast
Forth bike 89 FJ12 my totally standard workhorse
81 GPZ1100 hybrid - what a bike, built to sell but I can't part with it
