I want to send a Big Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!
May all the joys of fatherhood bring you happiness today!
(or, if this fits better )
May you get out on the FJ to escape all the chaos of fatherhood today  :yahoo:

Cheers to all the Dads :drinks:

Thx, Alan, back at ya & to all the fathers on here. My son is out at sea for college so I don't get to see him this year, so I think I'll take your advice & take a nice twisty escape on my '89!!  :i_am_so_happy:

Thanks Alan, same to you!
I'm SOL, as both my boys are outta town with their girlfriends and my FJ is unrideable after the Colorado Rally (rear tire, blown fork seal, and chain)!
No worries though, as my mind is set on the 2013 WCR! And that is comforting to think about!

Thanks, and to y'all also!
Took my youngest son for a ride on the FJ today. Good times. It's nice to have a passenger that leans with you, not against you.

It's been a quiet day nursing my sore knees from to much dancing and vino at my daughter's wedding. Can't go for a ride as it hasn't quit raining for the last three weeks, supposed to start to get better over the next week. Happy father's day to everybody. Big R

I didn't get to ride either. My bike is apart getting a new rear tire, and waiting for my replacement muffler.
I did however take the family up to the mountains. We had a nice picnic lunch next to a creek, and took the jeep up Jones Pass.......there was too much snow at the pass, so didnt make it over, but we had a great day getting up where its cooler(it was 97 today here in Denver)

The Road up Jones pass. Above the treeline

This is as far as I dared to go.......The snow threatens to slide you off the road, and down the slope.

The road disappears under the snow drift at the top..

The kids enjoyed playing in this alpine stream with Mrs. H.

It was a great day out with the kids!

Looks like you had a great time with the family Alan.  I didn't get to see my kids.  Did get to go on a nice long final ride on my fj though.
