The Hungarian drag track where I run my FJ only conducts 2 or 3 races per year. The next race is only one day - June 23. I conveniently have a 3-day weekend but my wife wants to take the family to Croatia instead.

So Croatia it is. I didn't even complain. I am such a great husband and dad. *Sigh* :empathy3:

just take the bike, and race your wife to Croatia
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

84 Fj1100  effie , with mods
( 88 ) Fj 1200  fairly standard , + blue spots
84 Fj1100 absolutely stock standard, now more stock , fitted with Fj12 twin system , no rusted headers for this felicity jayne

Glad my wife doesn't say that sort of thing.  I'd tell her to have fun wherever she goes!

Took the ZX9 to the track this weekend, and was taken out by the same guy both days.  It's like I've completely forgotten how to launch properly, all really awful 60' times (1.86-1.78).  At least it was in the finals on the second day... :)

UGH!

missing yet another racing season  :dash2:  If I'm lucky I MIGHT get to hit the track late Sept or Oct

Seariously thinking about pulling the race motor and dropping the 1314 in until I get the suspension and clutch sorted and establishh a decent baseline.  Then drop the race motor back in and tweak from there...

Back to the original topic...good decision I'd say...
