There used to be adds in one of the Aussie bike mags advertising wheel re-spoking and the straightening of alloy wheels. From memory it was somewhere in Melbourne but I don't recall any other details. Might be worth doing a google search if you havn't already done one. Sorry I can't help any further.   Regards, Pete.

Not from down under but Wills rim repair North Carolina does them for $65 add $15 if he has to weld them $10 to straighten rotors. Quick turn around.

About a month ago my wife ran off the edge of the road and hit a monster pothole and folder the inside bead of both passenger side aluminum mag rims on her Honda Accord so bad that they would not hold air.  I thought that was going to cost me big bucks.

Some friends told me about a local machine shop (Petersburg Va) who fixed wheels on the side.  They had a press with a bunch of jigs - dozens of sizes and shapes that fit in a press.  So combination of press, jig and heat and they fixed them both in just a few minutes and charged me $45 a wheel.  Which I thought was a deal.   Been riding on em for weeks now, no problems.  I know a guy who rides a BMW GS who had a wheel fixed there too.
