hello, I'm bob from Estonia i own a 1984 yamaha fj1100. and have the following problem: 2 of the carbs are not working, all of the sparks are descent, 2 candles wet from gasoline, also checked the air filter wich is ok. has anyone had the same problem before? The bike itself runs but there is no power in it, wouldn't go over 90 km/h,
thanks for any help.

Alf

First of all hello and welcome!
It is not a good idea in this forum not to present and speak about yourself. I´ve read a lot of times not to cheerful welcomes to people that only post to get help or to sell something.  :ireful: So don´t say anybody that I´m going to try to help you  :empathy2:

Have you checked the coils?. At first sign the symptoms are that 1 coil is not working

Which carbs? IIRC, 1&4 use one coil, 2&3 the other. If spark plugs are wet with fuel, it sounds like either the cylinders aren't getting spark, or they're flooding badly enough to drown the plugs.... If the pair of cylinders are using the same coil, I'd lean towards a bad coil.
