I took my youngest son riding on our piece-o-crap Chinese quad last weekend. Seems he's a chip off the old block. Apparently we both wear white and black jackets while riding red and black machines.

These photos where taken just before the chain came off. :sorry: Absolutely beautiful day, though!

Good on you, Lotso.  Looks like a great place to ride, and the lad appears to be having a hoot.  Soon he'll be riding it on two wheels more than four - either just the rears or one or the other sides (experience).  Speaking of sons, just hauled all my boy's worldly belongings from OH to Spokane in a U-Haul.  Although he reached level 5 SERE last fall and is eligible to deploy, they can't graduate enough SERE specialists from training to replace his team.  His stay at survival school at Fairchild has been extended by at least six months.  Doesn't bother him - he loves it there.  He said the last team to enter SERE training started with about 60 members and washed out all but two after the second pahse of training.  Funny thing was his reasoning why no one can make it through.  He said,
"Pop, this younger generation doesn't want to work for anything.  They want instant gratification and they're lazy.  They just don't have the drive to do it."
He's all of 23 years old, so he's either referring to his generation or the airforce is enlisting babies for SERE training.  BTW, love your Strange Hungarian Customs.  Keep them coming.
