Need front rotors for 89+ used but useable

I am on a budget to have my front upgraded before the 2012 WCFJR, I am looking for front rotors 89+ that are not Chinese knock offs, but may be used and in decent condition. Near the wear limit is Ok if the price is right. The bits I need are adding up and good new rotors are breaking the budget. I have been looking and using the cross reference chart already published but keep getting the same Ebay results...

Randy, is the price listed for your cartridge fork inserts listed as each, or as a pair? I did not see this noted on your web page....   Thanks in advance for any help...

I crossed referenced the rotors and you can use rotors from a FZR600, FZR400 and the TDM850. I PM'ed you the links to some replacement parts that may be in your price range.

If you want these you can have them. They are barely spec, but appear usable yet. Don't know what cost is to ship to Cali. Lemme know.

Hein, I think you might have these backwards? I just mic'd a set of rotors I have that came off from an 89 FJ wheel and I am getting just less than 3.5mm where the pads run.( I guess these are under spec.) I measured 4mm on the outer edge and inside portion of the rotor were the pads never touch. They are 298mm diameter as well. My manual says wear limit is 3.5mm so this confirms that I am actually measuring an FJ rotor. Maybe the FZR rotor is a bit thicker as it is also a bit larger in diameter.
Anywho...Mark, if you want these, to get you by until you find a better set, you are welcome to them. I put a 3.5" 87 FZR wheel on my 86 last year and now the 120/60/17 tire fits much better.

I am very happy with my China knockoffs, they have worn well and with no issues.   With 4k+ mileage that includes 2-WCR, 2-Phx.,Az to Flagstaff runs, LA Crest w/ Kvlady's pine cone and a handful of Sunday runs out to Palomar mtns.

Mike, with so many Chinese knock-offs I can't tell one from another. Where did you get yours?
