This is SO frustrating. As an American working in Hungary, I receive my mail forwarded from the U.S. This mail stops at Budapest customs office where it is filtered and inspected and most of it opened. We've had bank statements opened along with credit/debit cards, and PIN mailings. Talk about intrusive! I'm retired Air Force, and about 90% of all my correspondence with the U.S. Air Force and VA is opened and looked at. We are still missing a number of birthday and Christmas cards (some included checks). What set me off today was when I received a critical letter from the Air Force concerning my military records. The letter was in a separate envelope inside another one. When I received it today, the outside envelope was torn off and removed. The letter inside had a seal that read, For Official Use Only - To be opened by addressee only." Surprisingly, they did not open that one. They just wrapped the remains of the outer envelope around it and taped it on the smaller envelope. This is happening to most of the other Americans working with me. We complained to our Hungarian office, but when we explained what was happening, they just replied, "Yeah?" like, "So what?" Maybe it's an Eastern European former Communist control thing. My kids have spent the last 3 Christmas holidays here with no gifts from our family back in the U.S. because I had to tell them not to mail anything.

Sorry for the rant, I'm just fed up. There's just no reason for this. :dash2:

Next time you order an FJ part and it arrives 5 days later, appreciate it. But somehow I get parts to my house from Randy@RPM just fine.
