hello
new to this forum and the fj1200
i have recently bought an fj1200 that comes with the 5 speed i was wondering if it is possible to do a swap for the 6spd transmission in the 2000s r1
any help would be appreciated

Most likely someone else will know, , probably easier to change sprockets,  maybe 18 front, 38 rear
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

84 Fj1100  effie , with mods
( 88 ) Fj 1200  fairly standard , + blue spots
84 Fj1100 absolutely stock standard, now more stock , fitted with Fj12 twin system , no rusted headers for this felicity jayne

will that increase top end?? what is stock sprocket
im looking for more gas millage more or less i had a 500r and i loved the 6spd

no six speed swaps available for the FJ.

installing an 18 tooth countershaft sprocket will help with dropping cruising RPM.
