Re-valved stock shock 230crf

I just want to put a recommendation out for Hlebo Bros Suspension out of San Jose California. I sent my stock shock from my '06-Honda 230CRF (non rebuildable according to the manual) to Hlebo an had it re valved and am very satisfied with the results.

The stock shock is horribly harsh and noncompliant, and the only other options for a shock to fit this bike were aftermarket from Fox or Works.  Both seem like good options, but both in the $500 + price range.

The re-valved shock is still nonadjustable except for the spring, but John at Hlebo re-valved it to fit my weight and riding style/use. $200 and a 3 week turn around.

I got a chance to go for a good 3 hour ride last Sunday morning and what a difference!  This along with the Race Tech Emulators I installed over the stock front springs makes this little trail bike a blast to ride now.

I'm not sure what other shocks that they can rebuild, but it may be worth your time if you're looking for options.
Maybe someone else here has used them?
