Im sure one should be around, other than that first disclaimer thing that pops up one when you sign up, but I was thinking we should maybe have a general rules thread as a sticky inside the "introductions" thread. Just a thread laying down general rules for posting, what is taken seriously and what not so seriously, what pisses the forum members off etc. I just saw something on another forum and though it may help for the younger members like me and irishluck who may step over the line once in a while.

I cant think of all the things to put in the actual thread but the members here who would like topics posted a certain way might be a guideline. Like use proper GRAMMAR, stick to ONE problem per post, BUY a EFFEN owners manual(me especially) so you dont piss off the people tryna help you and can get points across correctly. I know the swearing thing isnt taken too personally(i mean u could just choose not to look). And the golden rule I have seen mentioned a few times, if you wouldnt say it in public dont say it here. No spam. I donna what the veiws are on bashing but it doesnt really happen often.

Like I said the guys who have been here longer can probably give you better suggestions (which reminds me, noobs should shut up when tryna help especially if they arent helping with the problem - which again refers to me)

Otherwise what do you think Marsh? and the rest of the members? Is it worth making a sticky(some might not bother to read or know hpw to after all)
