I saw this on ebay, and despite all the searches in the forums, I cannot make out if this fuel cap will fit my 1984 FJ1100?

Mine is close to being knackered, and I was hoping this would be a good fit?

cheers, Gareth

No way, Unless you convert over to a 86/87 gas tank.

It won't be a direct bolt on...   That said, anything is possible with the proper application of time, money and sweat.   The master of the Stormy Red and Quartz Silver did some extensive work on his gas cap this summer and has decided that if any show up as available, to snag them as they are NLA and becoming more rare everyday.  And not finding any suitable replacements in the breakers yard.  Good luck!  Let us know if you dig up something useful!
