Taking my FJ DRAG RACING this weekend

This thread has me wanting to hit the local 1/8 mile track.

Seat of the pants, seems the FJ should run in the low 7's.

I had a 2002 Honda 919 that ran 7:40's and the FJ sure feels quicker.

Maybe Wednesday, maybe Wednesday.....

Plan is to head to the drag strip tomorrow night.

Have a buddy with a FZ1 going as well, should be interesting.

Wife is going to take pics and video, if all works out.

Did you ever go?

With the suspension at stock height, 7.2's was the best I could muster in the 1/8, at about 220lbs myself.

Lowering the bike at both ends (strap and adjustable dogbones) and with a bit more practice, it just broke into the 6's through the 1/8, running just slightly into the triple digits at the top of third gear.
