painting your FJ?

If you were to repaint your FJ, would you paint it the same color scheme or a different color.  My '87 needs some heavy touchup (no dents, just scratches and such) and was thinking about changing just for something different.  Would that be sacreligious? Has anyone else done it?  What color if you have?

Thanks,
Larry

Personal preference there...one member did one in a mat-black that looked good...wheels blackened too.   I could see adding a stipe maybe.  There is a pic in our gallery several pages back.
89 FJ1200 saphire.blu owned 8-9 years.  By far the most satisfying of them all. Constant tinkering got me the best bike you could ever want.

I used one colour that matched my Givi lids. I think it looks good...

Bob, I think your bike looks fantastic!   :good2:
I was thinking British racing green pearl with white decals.  green rims, also

Single color looks great.  I always liked when people used the stock layout of stripes and colors and such, but in the wrong colors.  Yamaha race colors for example would look neato..

i still have all my original red and white bodywork but i wanted a hot rod paint job to go along with my hot rod engine

A nice pearl white with bright luminous stripes may look good too with green rimtape or the whole wheel
Life behind bars - is actually quite thrilling
