After three days of incessant rain (the remains of Hurricane Katia apparently) I couldn't take it any more and rode my FJ to the other side of the country (45 miles!) to the great city of Edinburgh where, as the weatherman promised, it was dry and sunny(ish). Got soaked and battered by the wind there and back but worth it eh?

Battered by the winds here today as well , you had the right idea doing that journey ...looks nice there  :good:

Nice picture! My family visited Ayr and Edinburgh in 2003. I remember that tower in the photo. So much history there!
