Exhaust Collector Box Delkevic Review

I'm in need of a new exhaust collector box. Some people offered to dig through their spare parts bins for me but I'm wondering if I should just buy an aftermarket part. They seem really nice, stainless steel and all.

I'm looking at the one from Delkevic.

http://www.delkevic.us/?section=shop&product_category=&sub_category=&product=yamaha_collector_boxes__link_pipes&variant=yamaha_fj1200_1986-1993&start=0&search_term=&order_by=

It's $150 after shipping. This sounds like a good deal to me.

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this box? Is it good, is it bad? Does it hold up? Any opinions on Delkevic parts in general or this collector box would be very helpful!

I've heard of people switching to a single silencer, who do they do that? I thought more pipes was better for exhaust flow? I know everyone is always excited about duel exhaust on a car, why do people want single exhaust on their bike?

My bike is a 1993.

Thanks for your help!
