Just got back from Bristol (great race) but the roads around there are unbelievable 
I did 600 plus miles while I was there. 500ish with the wife, she was a good sport .
But the ride I did alone was unreal, 421 from Bristol to Boone and back. That is one of the best roads I've road my FJ on ever. There is 2 11 mile sections OH MY  (I wish I was going to the ECFR)
5 states, lots of mountain passes, perfect weather, awesum bike, as close to zen as you could get.

just had a similar experience in Ontario Canada..my son and I did a 900 km ride around Lake Simcoe and up to Bancroft..perfect everything.  The old FJ just purred along.  Got within 3km of my home, passed a clunker...was just pulled back in slowing from the pass and got nailed for speeding...
