Good to be back with FJ'ers. I joined the yahoo group after buying my '89 in Feb '03. I mostly read and posted only when I had FJ specific questions. The group was very helpful. I have only put about 8600 miles on my FJ since I bought it. I have other bikes, 2 old XS650's and I am the original owner of a 1983 ZVX1200 I use the FJ mostly for Sunday morning  and other special rides. It is stock except for the spin on oil filter, Spiegler superbike bar kit, and NO windshield. That's by choice. I know it looks funky, but I prefer the smooth air to major buffeting. I am centrally located near Binghamton NY and would be willing to travel for Sunday morning coffee meetings with other FJ'ers. Right now Gimmee Coffee in Ithaca is my Sunday destination. Bear Mountain anyone?

Welcome here -Anson is it?  Others may chime in as to clean air windshield options you may not have tried.  Again, welcome here.

I've been working a different shift and not getting anything done around home. I don't have a picture of the FJ on file, all the others, but not the FJ. I'll work on that soon. It looks like I "broke" the windshield and I am too cheap to buy a new one. Anson
