Hi i have been a lurker poster and general fj perv for the last 6 months and just thought I would introduce myself.
I put 60,000 km on my fj before I removed the motor to rebuild and fix 2nd and3rd gear. A job change and kids put that on the back burner
for 17yrs but I am starting to work towards puttting her back ship shape
The fj took me through BC,Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, California, Arizona,  2 months in Mexico, the only problem was a flat on the rear at 66,666 kms
I have looked at the newer bikes bought and sold a yzf750 am going to try out a fzr1000 but still think the old fj my be the best bike for me
Here is a picture of her as she sits now. The building its in has fallen down around it.

Welcome to the group.....

you need to clear some space out around that bike and then have a good one on one session to get her back in good shape again.

you wont regret it.
