okay answer would be obvious but I thought I would ask anyway. which FJ would be the best? (0pinion or fact)

1. The 600?
2. 1100?
3.1200?
4. 1200 ABS
5. 1300 (FJR)

And is there anybody who actually owns a FJ 600? I have seen one before, but not in real life.

Oh and if I have missed a model please tell me about it, I am quite interested in seeing all the FJs

Dont forget to mention the year of the model

This is a  Yamaha FJ1100/FJ1200 owners forum.
It's not a coincidence the FJ600 was omitted.  :bad:

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

The 1100's were the most "sporty" of the bunch.

Although the 89-90 years are thought of the best mix between sport and touring.  After that Yamaha moved more towards touring.

Some people here who have ridden the FJR say while it's a nice bike it has less ground clearance than the FJ's and is easier to get hard parts to scrape in corners.  I personally have not ridden a FJR.

i own an 1100, have spent time on an 88 1200 would prefer my 1100, never ridden an fjr should be an ok bike but i dont like the look ,rather an xjr :)
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

84 Fj1100  effie , with mods
( 88 ) Fj 1200  fairly standard , + blue spots
84 Fj1100 absolutely stock standard, now more stock , fitted with Fj12 twin system , no rusted headers for this felicity jayne

HAHAha yeah the 600 isn't the best looking of bikes but when I saw it I thought literally aw what a CUTE bike it looks so small and dinky nothing like the brute 1100 and 1200. and top ups :good2: to the xjr over the fjr1300 I have only ridden on my 1100 so i cant say but it fairs really well against the later model zzr1100s (say 89 to 93 models)
