Windscreen polish

I bought some Meguiars "PlasticX" clear plastic cleaner and polish. I put it on by hand and it was ok but the results was not what I needed. Then I put a foam bonnet on a buffer and "wow" it took an old windscreen given to me because it was all scratched up and made it shine with only 3 or 4 runs at it. The product works great, just not by hand.    Use a buffer with a foam pad. Got the stuff at the local discount auto store.
