My First Try At Painting Flames

...but not on a motorcycle.

I work on aircraft and painted my headsets with a metallic charcoal base, then red flames. It didn't turn out very good, but they're alright. Then a girl I work with asked me to paint her headsets the same, but with pink flames. The pink paint was very brittle and flat. When I pulled the tape off, it started to flake, so instead of sanding the edges down flat, I just shot clear over them. The clear darkened up the pink a little, though. This was all freehand.
