89 percent of weather stations fail to meet the National Weather Service's own siting requirements, according to a survey of over 70% of the weather stations in the U.S.

I don't know if anyone here follows Anthony Watts' blog, Watts Up With That, but the research he is doing on AGW is fascinating and compelling.  One of his pet projects, Surface Stations, has just produced its first report.

As far as I can tell, this isn't the kind of science that should be ignored, but I'm quite certain that none of the MSM will cover it.
