I wasn't going to post this since it has no motorcycle content but some of you seem to like seeing other parts of the world so this is how I like to take my holidays (vacations) Unbelievably I can fly from Glasgow, Scotland to Carcassonne, SW France for £20 - yes $33 for a 2,000 mile round trip. The great thing about Europe is that 2 hours on a plane takes you to a place with a different climate, language, food, culture etc. Carcassonne is a beautiful town in a beautiful location near the Pyrenees mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

The medieval city

We rented the quaint yellow townhouse. The owner encouraged us to enjoy the square with a bottle of wine.

A nice way to see the country - a barge on the Canal du Midi.

Hope you enjoy the pics. Tell me if you don't - We're off to Spain next month and I'll post more if you want.
