Hi guys,

Been keeping my eyes out for a rear wheel.  I would like your guys opinion before i buy this one.  Do you think it will work?

the short answer is no, the long answer is "anything is possible" if..........................................

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

It 'might' work but you'll also need the cushdrive, brake hanger (and probably caliper), and all the spacers, plus ensure that the bearings have a 20mm ID to fit the FJ axle.
Then you have to determine that the whole assembly will fit into the FJ swingarm with the wheel centered and the chain in line.  OR that you can machine it so it does fit properly.

Decide what you want first. I found a 90-92' GSXR rear from a 750 with some of the bits and rotor. I just ordered the caliper, bracket and brake stay today (gotta get ready for WCR). Do your homework and use the search function on this site, lots of great info on rear end jobs (gonna get some jibes for that :shok:). Use the search function first and enjoy the education from the massive amounts of experienced modifiers in the group.
