hi Jake (and others)

Sorry I did not write much the over night but as I said was just getting ready for racing

The FJ is mainly raced at Anglesey and Oulton Park against any pre 89 production motorcycles. The main competition it's against is, the Yamaha FZR1000 (their is even an OWO1) and the Suzuki GSXR 1100 slabsider. It is called Forgotten Era

Phil had gone to a track day a few years ago and some guy was talking about cheap racing, this series was mentioned and Phil had a plan
3 years later there are 6 fj's racing, (the series should be called fj racing + guests)

I just thought that people the other side of the pond and around the world would like to see this

websites for more information

http://www.fjracer.com/, this tells you the story about well its just cheap racing to have slipper clutches fitted etc etc

http://tracmon.co.uk/ (this site is updating as i type this) http://www.trackpedia.com/wiki/Anglesey_Circuit check out the video to give you an idea

http://www.oultonpark.co.uk/ more info herehttp://www.trackpedia.com/wiki/Oulton_Park look @ the video on the gsx to give you an idea

are the tracks

btw  Phil won yesterday  (best lap of 152.5)  (Best lap Ryuichi Kiyonari, Honda, 1m 35.436s, 101.54mph, 23/07/06,( information i just found by surfing so might not be up to date etc but gives u and idea as this is a British superbike with r+d of Honda) , his best lap time was 150.9 in the superbikes, (he goes out with them just to p1ss them off, and it only costs an etc £50 so y not)

his highest in the superbikes is about 13th,plus lets not forget the other five members, Steve Munson got 3rd and i cant remember all the results  till i find the time sheets etc as this information is off the top of my head

so hope people find this fun and interesting and i haven't bored you guys to much, me i just loved been involved

regards mark
