Can any one confirm that these pipes will fit my 89???

It's on a Japanese auction site and the seller states that they don't know what there off.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Ben.

Below is a yahoo translate of the description... i got a laugh out of it.

Harvy

Ben, looking at the pictures, I doubt they are for an FJ.....the length of the headers suggest maybe an FZ1 or something with a shorter distance from exhaust ports to the bottom of the sump......but not long enough for an FJ.

But I could be wrong!

I think Harvy is right, But I could be wrong too.

Headpipes don't appear to be correctly shaped for an FJ.

This is for an FJ, notice the 1 + 4 pipes are a more flat shape, as there's no frame to tuck into there.

Blitzen

Okay, I'll throw my 2 cents in and agree with the others that it is not for an FJ because it looks like the spacing between the header pipes is equal.  That is to say it looks like it is for an engine that doesn't have a cam chain between cylinders 2 & 3.

Kopfjaeger

i am in the opinion of the original post...i reckon its for a GPZ 1000 rx... looks the same as my  2 into 1's at the headers...

Travis398

The FJ header has a pretty good angle on it too, the original pics look a lot straighter
