where can i get wiring info for an 87 fj 1100 cdi unit 'which wire goes where ?

There is no '87 FJ1100.  The FJ has been a 1200 (1188cc actual) since '86.

However, just in case your typing sucks :-), you should find that information in the files section on the electrical schematic for whatever year and market your bike is.

ahh i see !!! that was just what the breakers had wrote on the side ov it , it has the vacumn pipe on it ??
now maybe i am being thick hear cos iv looked in the files section and cant find the wiring schematic , where will it be ?

I thought there was a full service manual in  there.  Seems I was wrong.
I'll take a pic of the electrical schematic and post it to you tomorrow.

Thanks Craig, that is one of today's chores I can now not have to remember :-)

The floods are in Queensland and Northern New South Wales, not anywhere near here thankfully.  Harvy, Klavdy, and a bunch of others may  be having some difficulties.  Currently the area of the floods is greater than all of France and Germany combined.  You can see some pics of it here:
