When I got the bike the ignition didnt work at all.

I got a replacement TDI, still no spark. Both ignition coils test good at 3ohm and both crank pickup coils test at 160ohm. The bike turns over, the sidestand switch is bypassed, and I can make the coils spark by grounding the return wires on them.

When i turn the  bike over I get a .5v signal from each pickup each revolution. I also have 12v at the coils. Is there something I am forgetting?

total never mind! Now I know its a wiring issue. I jumpered a lead that is supposed to have 12v on the TDI box, and what do you know, the damn spark plugs fired!
