Here is a twist I've never seen before.   I am not suprised, just never seen this before.  I'll bet it is quite a ride.

Wanna turn key price get into the 8's? http://tiny.cc/966q4

Per the eBay ad: A "perfect" Super Comp. drag bike? Uuuuuh, not quite.
The little 1340cc FJ motor is not competitive in the Super Comp. class where the bigger 1550+cc 'Busa's and Kawasaki's are running consistent mid/low '8's.

However, this would be a excellent training bike for your Super Comp. license. Practice, practice, practice.

This bike needs one thing:  To lose the stupid blue/white R-1 paint scheme and return to it's roots: The Stormy Red/Smokey Silver FJ paint scheme.

Pura Vida amigos.

<edit> I'm wrong. It looks like the high 8's are competitive for Super Comp.: http://www.dragbike.com/dbnews/anmviewer.asp?a=5209&z=18

We've all seen FJ drag bikes, I have never seen an FJ mountain climbing bike.

Super comp is run at an 8.90 index.  Did you notice the winner in that compitition actually had the slower time.  He won with his reaction time.

FJ motor'ed  hill climbers are out there, I've seen a few on videos, also, probably more successful than FJ drag bikes.

Good point, yea, now that you mentioned it...Look at  Konopaki's reaction times:

Round 1: .022
Round 2: .035
Round 3: .032
Round 4: .030
Finals :   .030

Mr. Konopaki should be renamed Mr. Consistent.  Very nice piloting, indeed.  Practice, practice, practice..

Thanks Harv... Doesn't that look like fun? We should bring a couple FJ hill bikes to the Fall ECR for giggles.
