With all the newcomers to the site and the ongoing carby issues I thought it timely to bring up  a brilliant bit of advice I got from here a year or so back.
When taking carby's off, remove rear subframe bolts (immediately under airfilter box screws) and muffler bolts and allow rear subframe to drop. This gives you a good inch of clearance between carby and airbox/manifold when removing/installing, so easy! Takes extra 5 mins.
