I usually prefer FJ's without the belly fairing, but I think it will balance the sidecar nicely.

I am generally with you too, however with all the white on the sidecar I also agree it would help balance it out. Polishing those headers looks like a job too!  Slowly bringing her back....

Thanks Red and Sparky84.  I have also found the Pyramid product, and for those of us in the US buying through Motomachines looks like the most affordable route.  I also found decals/stickers here: https://www.replacementdecals.com/1989-1990-yamaha-fj1200-motorcycle-decals-red-white.aspx

It might be a bit of a hack, but getting it in white and just adding the stickers might be "enough" without having to properly paint it (not me, would have to find someone to do that). Otherwise it just needs grey paint and probably clearcoat over all of it at the end.
