Nonfango rack on 3xw mods

Morning hivemind. I have a 3xw (registered in 1997) and bought a Nonfango pannier set and rack from ebay that had been (apparently) removed from another 3xw. I have 3 issues which are as follows:

1. While the rack fits the bolt mounts for the seat cowl, the 2 struts that attach to the footpeg mounts are short by around 100mm.

2. The indicator stalks need moving but there're no obvious alternative places on the rack to move them to and certainly nothing pre drilled for them to attach to.

3. I overtightened one of the attachment bolts at the rear of the seat cowl and subsequently stripped it, so it now just turns freely both ways and is going nowhere

Any ideas greatly recieved. The stripped bolt being most pressing.
