It is with deep sadness that I have to let all know that Mike Anchondo has passed away this morning.  My sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Tina and family.
For those that attended the 2010 Rally and beyond Mike was a regular attendee and my riding buddy all these years.  I will miss on my future rides and miss the wine tasting adventures.

I am not sure of services yet but for those that do want to pay their respects email me at moparman70@gmail.com and I will be glad to share the information as I know it.

That is sad news. I last saw him at the hayfork rally.
I bought a Corbin seat from him . Im pretty sure its the one pictured on his bike. I'll think of him when I ride my 84 1100 I have the seat installed on.

God speed Mike.

Mike was a soft spoken man, but always personable. I grieve for Tina and their family.

I last saw them both in the fall of 2021 and we were all happy to be together.

Last time we saw Mike and Tina, Diane and I were enjoying a bottle of wine with them sitting on a hillside watching the Hayfork crowd...  I miss the WCR routine, and when something like this happens I really realize why.  Riding is only part of why the WCR was such an awesome event.  The people we meet and the stories we make together are the bigger part...

Godspeed Mike!

You have email Steve...

One of my favorite memories was with Mike and Steve, in Steve's garage having a man shed day. I was showing Mike how replace the valve shims and (knowing what would happen) I told Mike to get a real close look at that bucket while he carefully rotated the crank...you have to make sure that shim is seated in the bucket... Steve and I smiled at each other and stood back while Mike got a good squirt of oil in his face....imagine that, Oh shit! That never happened before..LOL Mike was a good sport. Smiled and wiped the oil off his face.

this is depressing as f##k.
He was a super guy and as always said to him on meeting at various WCRs; he looked great on that 86.
