Hi All!
restoring a 1984 Black over red FJ600, havent seen many that combo, most i see are silver and red, any one have a black over red? Pic is not mine, ref only.

Welcome Bodger, kudos on your restoration, the FJ600 was a cool bike. I believe to be under appreciated.
 My first in-line 4 was the 1972 Honda CB500 which I rode the wheels off...smooth and reliable.
FYI only the USA 1984 FJ1100 models had the Stormy Red and Quartz Silver color combo (and I suspect the same for the FJ600)  All other 1984 non USA FJ's has the red and white or blue and white color schemes.
I would bet you a jelly donut your red/black FJ600 came from Canada.
