Thanks for adding me. I recently acquired a 84 FJ with less than 1000 miles, one owner.  I also own a 05 FJR. Pictures to come. I am Tim Johnson and I live in the Augusta Georgia area and ride the mountains of North Georgia,  North Carolina and Tennessee regularly.

Very nice!   :drinks:

1,000 miles?!  Guess we'll find out how well it held up sitting around - hopefully you won't be chasing a lot of oil leaks.  It'll be great to see it get proper use!

welcome to the group.  Make sure to keep in touch with regards to the fall east coast rally.  We get together every September in Tellico Plains for a week or so.

Welcome Tim! There is something special about those Stormy Red and Quartz Silver '84 FJ's.  Ask me how I know..

If I may make a suggestion, go to your Profile and on your signature line, put in: '1984 FJ1100'.  This will then automatically appear on all your posts. That way when you ask a question, we will know what year FJ you have.

Cheers.  Pat

Welcome Tim, nice to see some new owners show up during our slow season. Less than 1000, what a garage find you have. Time to look at all the soft stuff. Seals, brake lines, tires...
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....
