hi all my name is mark

i am the half of Kerry and not as pretty

Bought my first fj new in 89 (same colour as Kerry's is now) but i downsized when i started to see my ex, bought a house, then she left 96  ;D and in 97 i bought another fj

as you can see still have it and a fjr

Been on various lists over the year, starting with netpath where i read about farkle or to mod to change ones fudge (fj)and to read story's of what people did with and on there fjs (eg hawk doing 2000+ in one day)

the back end on my fj is the suzi wheel thanks to Arnie http://www.fjmods.btinternet.co.uk/Pictures/MarkSuz3.jpg

Joined the fj club (been running over 15 years  ) here in the uk when i bought my bike, and for my sins i am a club official, helping out with the racing (http://www.fjracer.com/) and club weekend etc (http://www.kerryrawsonbikes.fotopic.net/c1544853.html)

love going to germany, to the German fj meetings which me and Kerry try to do @ least once a year

Here is some pics from last year http://www.kerryrawsonbikes.fotopic.net/c1509329.html

so i guess you can say i like my fj and my fjr

i dont post that often as i will leave it to kerry, but thought i would say "hi"

regards  mark

Hi Mark, welcome! You know... I recognised you instantly when Kerry posted up her pix & stuff a couple weeks ago. Reason being is that I studied the pix of Mark Alva's beautifull grey/black/white FJ posted on the FJmods site, one of which is of you on the bike.  I loved the look of that bike, so much in fact that I painted my bike the same color scheme.

I'm terribly sorry for the loss of your friend.

Peace & Love.

me and Kerry only met mark a few times as we can only get out to Orlando to see our other friends every couple of years

Mark left some flyer's in Orlando yamaha saying he had some parts for fjs/legends, so we went to see him and i took some stuff back to the uk

when u went in marks house it was a shrine to the fj, you walked through the front door and there was a drag fj in bits, one of his spare room in the house had pigeon holes full of fj parts

I spoke to mark several times on the phone till the next time me and Kerry made it back to Orlando (around bike week)

we met up and he said did i want a go on his "special", it was as tight as could be, 1314 kit, Vance powerpac, suzi front end and rear wheel etc etc, if i rem correctly he did the paint as well

he did offer me @ $6000, but the fjr was due out and it seemed with uk rate @ the time it maybe not worth it in a money sought of way (shipping it back here)

somebody did contact Barry Edwards to say he owned marks bike after seeing it on his website

mark had been ill for a few years, he had a bike accident, the drugs they gave him had a reaction and damaged his kidneys if i rem correctly

the guy just loved to work on fjs
