Hi everyone, I'm not sure if they exist anymore. There used to be engine long bars/braces dirext bolt to protect many parts of the FJ. My 85 fell over& the rear brake went into the cover. A 200+ mistake. If anyone can lead me to websites anywhere in the world,  that has options like this , or you have them.  Let me know. I'm also  looking for extremely loud horns. A perfect size cell phone holder, & a wireless speaker. A good alarm system. My bike although I don't have the bike yet. I did post a  picture.  If anyone has any suggestions. Please inform me. I appreciate your help.

!1Diesel,

There may be louder horns, but these are one good option:
PIAA Slim Line Dual Horn Kit
https://www.piaa.com/store/p/395-Automotive-Slim-Sports-Horn-400/500Hz.aspx

A horn relay is strongly recommended too (standard automotive relay + socket/mount will be in the auto parts stores).  Stock horn button and wiring are not really up to the needs of any good horns.  The new relay is easily triggered by the horn button, as per normal, but the relay then sends full battery power to the horn(s).

Fall bars are good, certainly, but consider adding frame sliders also, for real protection.  I have no sources for that stuff, sorry.
Cheers,
Red

My 1100 also fell over on the right side about 30 years ago and the brake pedal punched a hole in the clutch cover. The fix back then was to use epoxy glue and a coin over the hole because we where on a long trip into sweden in the middle of nowhere. Now i have the pedal fitted a little lower
in case the bike should fall on right side. You can also fit a later type pedal that doesent have the tab sticking out against the cover
I think RPM racinga sells the renntech engine crash bars at least they did before

Thanks guy's,  I truly appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. I see these horns all over especially on motorcycles. I wonder if they really work. Real air horns with the tank, is way to big. Honestly bike horns are useless.
I will give Rob a call. I also can find a fabrication  shop, & have them custom made. Have them made out of stainless steel. No rusting.

!1Diesel,

Engine bar sets at RPM:
https://www.rpmracingca.com/products.asp?cat=39&filter=engine%20bar%20set

Aircraft-grade anti-corrosion spray for all metals:
ACF-50 Motorcycle And Automotive All Metal Anti-Corrosion Spray
Not undercoating, but better.

Rust converter in a spray can:
VHT SP229 Rust Converter
Converts rust into a polymer coating; it will look like clear varnish with a few drops of black mixed in it.
Make test pieces, to check results.

Coatings sold on Amazon, of course . . .

Loud horns save lives:

I have a set of these on my 1989 FJ. They were put there, along with a relay, by the former owner. The location is just behind the air cleaner pods, they sort of shoot out the wire mesh in the plastic side covers. They are loud as can be.

Not the greatest pic, but, gives you an idea. Also, gratuitous photo of much modified 1989 FJ that is about where I want it to be. I actually unmodified a few things, put an unmodified rear fender back on it, and ditched the integrated tail light turn signal system, as it was poorly installed, old, and I feel more lights are better on the back of a motorcycle.

Good luck with your project.
